Club members will travel to northern Vancouver Island for five days. We will study a Biosphere project that encompasses old growth forest, marine, and other habitat types. Anticipated activities include meeting with researchers, whale watching, hiking, camping, and sightseeing. We typically manage to have fun making s'mores,cooking outside as a group, visiting with like-minded people, and exploring our natural world in a non-invasive manner. A non-refundable $50 deposit is required by Feb 29, 2008. All other costs will be paid by the club (bring your own spending money) Plan for cold and rain just in case when you pack. Exact time of departure will be discussed at the next club meeting.
