Course Contents

  1. Using studio sessions and group exercises, students will develop observational and technical drawing skills.
  2. Using alternative studio exercises students will practice working with a variety of media, which may include (but will not be limited to) pencil, charcoal, pastel, and ink.
  3. Using notebooks, independent exercises and/or group exercises students will employ critical thinking skills.
  4. Students will use critical thinking skills to evaluate and analyze their work using self assessment and open critique sessions.
