Learning Outcomes

After completing this course, the student will be able to:

  1. Interpet and converse in hull lines of a vessel
  2. Demonstrate the ability to ascertain the stability of a vessel
  3. Illustrate full size development of a hull
  4. Operate the tools necessary in full size development to industry standards
  5. Construction of vessels from plans, determine method of repair, estimate costs of materials and labor. Demonstrate proficiency with hand and power tools to accomplish forming, shaping, and finishing operations.
