  3. Define and determine the ratio between two meshed gears.
  4. State the purpose of a transmission.
  5. Describe the difference between a transmission and a transaxle.
  6. State the purpose of a clutch assembly.
  7. Describe the differences between a typical FWD and RWD car.
  8. Describe the construction of a drive shaft.
  9. State the purpose of U and CV joints.
  10. State the purpose of a differential.
  11. Identify and describe the various gears used in modern drive trains.
  12. Identify and describe the various bearings used in modern drive trains.
