The Associate of Music Degree is a two-year degree program for the student who is interested in majoring in music at the university level, attending a private music school or conservatory or earning a degree in music. This degree is directly transferable to Western Washington University and Central Washington University. Completion of the degree does not guarantee admission into the major however students completing the Associate of Music degree receive priority admission consideration. Following a successful audition and placement test, AMUS degree holders are given junior music major status upon entrance to either university. Students have many opportunities for participation in both group and solo performance in vocal and instrumental areas.
