What is the LEAD Certificate?

Similar to an academic transcript, your LEAD Certificate lists all of your educational activities outside of the classroom including volunteer work, athletics, student clubs and organizations, community service, part-time employment, Student Government involvement, and more. This program enables you to earn a certification that recognizes your training and efforts in the leadership aspects of these activities at Skagit Valley College.

Who can earn a LEAD Certificate?

Any current Mount Vernon Campus student can earn a LEAD Certificate. The LEAD Certificate program is a completely student-oriented process so the criteria for the certificate can be met in any order. You design your certificate and it is reviewed and approved by campus advisors and the Student Life Office.
