Help Desk

The Help Desk in now located in the Norwood Cole Library foyer. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. 5 p.m.

With the integration of the Help Desk, Student Online Services (S-O-S), and Multimedia support, we have now successfully centralized all of our student technical assistance into one place. With this consolidation, we have enhanced the effectiveness of our support.


S-O-S

Do you have trouble logging in, understanding your computer or your email? Does the Moodle Muddle have you scratching your head? Contact S-O-S, which stands for Student Online Support.

There are several ways to contact S-O-S:

S-O-S is available Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Computer Access

Skagit Valley College provides on-campus computer labs for homework and student services use. Computer labs can be found at both the Mount Vernon and Whidbey Island campuses.

Students can also use computers in the Norwood Cole Library. Notebook computers, paid for by student tech fees, can also be checked out at the library for one week at a time. These devices are equipped with a free wireless connection.
