Welcome to the Communications Department at the Whidbey Island Campus of Skagit Valley College.  The Communications Department is responsible for English, Literature and Speech Courses.  Our faculty work closely with our colleagues in related departments at Mount Vernon and the various college centers to provide both college-readiness and college level courses for the region’s students.  We offer college readiness courses in English and Reading, college-level composition courses, literature courses, and college-level speech.
