Cardinal Athletics Welcomes Coach Keltner
 
Skagit Valley College Athletics is pleased to have Mishel Keltner on board as the new Head Volleyball Coach. Mishel begins her first season with the Cardinals after being hired in June of 2010. Coach Keltner was born and raised in Southern California where she was a 1st team All-League selection and team captain. After high school she moved on to Long Beach State University where her career unfortunately came to an end due to injuries. Mishel married husband Matthew in 1989 and has since live in places such as the Dominican Republic, Portland, Oregon, and now Anacortes, WA. While in the DR for 7 years, she worked at Escuela Caribe; a high school for students from the United States. In Portland she spent 3 years as the Head Volleyball Coach at Multnomah Bible College as well as coaching Club Juniors. Most recently Coach Keltner spent 5 years as Assistant Volleyball Coach at Anacortes High School. Mishel homeschools her 5 children aged 15, 13, 11, 9, and 6.
