Getting Started

I want to register for classes.

Registration

What is MySVC?

MySVC allows you to register, add or drop classes, pay tuition online, check your email, store and share documents, update your contact information, and much more. To access MySVC, visit www.skagit.edu/mysvc.

Need help using MySVC? Contact the Registration Office, (360) 416-7697 or registration@skagit.edu or Live Help With MySVC.

Waitlist

When you are on a waitlist and an opening occurs, you will be automatically registered in that course, so be sure to check the waitlist daily to avoid unwanted debt! To check your position, to see if you have been enrolled in a class, or to see if you have been removed from the waitlist, login to MySVC and click check/drop Waitlist. Note: It is your responsibility to monitor your movement on the waitlist because you will be charged for all classes in which you are enrolled from the waitlist.

New Students

Before you can register, make sure you have applied for admission. You will receive a SID (Student Identification Number) and PIN (Personal Identification Number). As a new degree seeking student you are required to attend an advising session before you can register at SVC.  This requirement can be fulfilled by attending a group advising session, completing the new student online advising module, or by meeting with a counselor or advisor in person.   Skagit Valley College has implemented mandatory advising to make sure students are aware of graduation requirements, college resources, and opportunities.

Returning and Current Students

It's your choice, you can register online or in-person. Note: if your address, phone number, or email has changed since you last attended, log onto MySVC, using your SID and PIN, and update your information. Returning SVC Students are strongly recommended to see a counselor before registering for classes.
