Currently the primary Learning Management System (LMS) we use at Skagit Valley College (SVC) is Moodle. Skagit Valley College is in the process of moving from Moodle to Canvas during 2015. eLearning is here to support faculty and students during this transition. If you have any questions about any intructional tool please not hesitate to contact us or use this site as a resource.
If you are new to eLearning, we offer multiple orientation sessions where you can learn about Moodle, MySVC email and other online SVC resources. See the MySVC homepage for more details: http://www.skagit.edu/mysvc
Use the new online class look-up tool to find which LMS your course is using - https://secure.skagit.edu/lmslookup.asp
For faculty/staff eLearning support is available several different ways. Please use this site as it is updated often with information on all instructional tools, including Canvas. eLearning staff can be reached via email firstname.lastname@example.org, by phone 360.416.7951, or visit your campus eLearning office (MV-S158, WIC-contact Julie Kunz).
