E-learning covers all classes taught at SVC that use technology to help deliver the class. These are most commonly fully online classes, or hybrid classes where part of the class is delivered in a standard classroom and part is online. For more information about E-learning or for help with E-learning classes, see below.
The primary Learning Management System (LMS) we use at SVC is Moodle. Moodle is an open-source system that we host and manage locally here on campus, and you can learn more about it here: https://moodle.org/
If you are new to Moodle or E-learning in general, we offer multiple orientation sessions where you can learn about Moodle, MySVC email and other online SVC resources. See the MySVC homepage for more details: http://www.skagit.edu/mysvc
Note Fall 2013: SVC has finished the process to migrate to the latest version of Moodle, Moodle 2. There will be no classes on Moodle 1 in Fall 2013, only on Moodle 2. If you are trying to find where your E-learning classes are, see the MySVC homepage: http://www.skagit.edu/mysvc
