Learning Management System @ SVC

Currently the primary Learning Management System (LMS) we use at Skagit Valley College (SVC) is Moodle.  Skagit Valley College is in the process of moving from Moodle to Canvas during 2015.  eLearning is here to support faculty and students during this transition.  If you have any questions about any intructional tool please do not hesitate to contact us or use this site as a resource.

Faculty/Staff eLearning Support

For faculty/staff eLearning support is available several different ways.  Please use this site as it is updated often with information on all instructional tools, including Canvas.  eLearning staff can be reached via email, by phone 360.416.7951, or visit your campus eLearning office (MV-S158, WIC-contact Julie Kunz).

Student eLearning Support

For student support with SVC eLearning systems, please contact the Student Online Support (SOS) desk.  They can be reached via email at or by phone at 360.416.7770 or by live chat at  If this is your first time using MySVC/E-learning resources, see the MySVC first time user instructions.  Use the new online class look-up tool to find which LMS your course is using -

If you are new to eLearning, we offer multiple orientation sessions where you can learn about Moodle, MySVC email and other online SVC resources.  See the MySVC homepage for more details.
