Online Orientation: Counseling and Career Services
Academic and Career Planning
Deciding on a career, choosing a major, selecting a college or university and solving personal conflicts are examples of topics you can address in Counseling and Career Services. All conferences are confidential; as a student, you may request the counselor of your choice. In addition to individual services, workshops and formal classroom instruction in personal growth and development are scheduled during the regular school year. The center also maintains a library of catalogs for most colleges and universities in Washington and Oregon. A job board lists current work opportunities, and a computerized data center provides access to employer profiles. For help in career planning or planning a course of study, contact Counseling and Career Services at the Mount Vernon Campus or Student Services at the Whidbey Island Campus.
