Rocio Almaraz: Rocio Almaraz is a tenth grader at La Conner High School. She is a high school cheerleader and has served as a class representative to ASB. Even though she has many responsibilities at home, she has been able to earn a 3.2 GPA. Her dream is to be a pediatrician.

Ana Arellano: Ana Arellano is in the eleventh grade at Mount Vernon High School. She has tutored adults in English as a Second Language. She takes her studies very seriously and plans to pursue studies in law.

Mireya Arévalo: Mireya Arévalo is a Cascades Job Corps student and a senior at State Street High School. She is an active member of La Raza Unida Club and the Diversity Committee. She is a dorm leader and also translates for instructors. Her goal is to become a dental hygienist or nurse.

Aaron Blessing: Aaron Blessing is a senior at Mount Vernon High School. He has served as state reporter and state treasurer for the Technology Student Association and currently serves as Class of 2005 Secretary. Last summer he attended the National Youth Forum on Law in Washington, DC. He plans to attend a university to study law.

TyAnn Bowman: TyAnn Bowman is a senior at Mount Vernon High School where she is a true leader. She is President of the Multicultural Club, a Link Leader and a member of choir. She actively volunteers at the Lincoln Theatre and Skagit Valley Hospital. She aspires to be a writer or a business owner.

Marie Clifford: Marie Clifford is a senior at Anacortes High School. She is the President of the International Club. A serious student with a 4.0 GPA, Marie hopes to pursue a higher education.

Jose De Los Rios: Jose De Los Rios is a junior at Burlington-Edison High School. He is a Natural Helper and is a peer tutor for Spanish and ELL classes. He has raised funds for the wrestling and football programs. He plans to attend college and study architecture.

Agustin Gonzalez: Agustin Gonzalez is a senior at Sedro Woolley High School. He is a member of the leadership class and arranges assemblies for the students. He assisted during the floods by helping the people who came to the gym for a place to stay. He plays football and soccer and has maintained a 3.3 GPA. He is interested in studying architecture.

Sarah Hernandez: Sarah Hernandez is a junior at Burlington-Edison High School. She is well known in the community for her singing talents, winning 1st place in the Selena contest in 2003. She came in 2nd place in the Cinco de Mayo Reina Pageant of 2004. She currently has a 3.16 GPA and plans to pursue her interest in music.

Janet Ibarra (NO PHOTO): Janet Ibarra is a junior at Burlington-Edison High School. She has been a member of Youth in Action and plans to join MEChA. She is an active member of St. Charles Parish. She would like to pursue a career in law enforcement.

Daniel Lee: Daniel Lee is in the 11th grade at Burlington-Edison High School. He currently maintains a 3.975 GPA. His career goal is to become a physician.

Abigail Martinez-Lopez (NO PHOTO): Abigail Martinez-Lopez is a Junior at Mount Vernon High School where she has distinguished herself in many ways. She has helped other students as a teaching assistant and as a volunteer tutor. She is an outstanding classroom helper and does not shy away from taking the initiative.  She is active in her church and plans to become a teacher.

Oscar Morales (NO PHOTO): Oscar Morales is a junior at Burlington-Edison High School. He is one of the leaders of MEChA and is a mentor to 9th graders. He acts as an interpreter for one of the elementary schools. He maintains a 3.6 GPA and would like to study law enforcement at a 4-year university.

Jamie Murdock: Jamie Murdock is a senior at Burlington-Edison High School. Her strengths are language, science and math. She has studied Japanese and German and has had exchange students live in her home. She is active in Key Club, FBLA and Natural Helpers. She plays soccer and tennis. She plans to become a lawyer.

Rhocelli Pascual (NO PHOTO): Rhocelli Pascual is a senior at Burlington-Edison High School. She has volunteered with Key Club, DECA and Future Business Leaders of America. She is proud of her cultural heritage and shares her Filipino traditions with others through dance. She is a solid student who plans to study psychology at a university.

Isabel Rodriguez: Isabel Rodriguez is a sophomore at Mount Vernon High School. She maintains a 3.1 GPA and is presently in AVID. Isabel is a true leader on campus, serving as class president and on the yearbook staff, playing volleyball, and participating in MEChA. Her overall goal is to be accepted and successful at a competitive 4-year university.

Christina Snyder: Christina Snyder is a 10th grader at Mount Vernon High School. She volunteers 2 hours per week helping children improve their literacy skills. Her assistance allows adults to learn English without having to find childcare. Her goal is to attend college and become a teacher.

Paula Vasquez ( NO PHOTO): Paula Vasquez is a senior at Sedro Woolley High School. In spite of her challenges, Paula tries very hard to succeed in school. This past summer she took correspondence courses at the District Office and broke the barrier of just staying home. It took her an hour by wheelchair to get to the District Office and she did it! She maintains a 3.0 GPA.

Jessica Villalobos: Jessica Villalobos is a 12th grader at Mount Vernon High School. She is an amazing young woman-a student, mom and employee. She has volunteered countless hours at Best Place and works at a local attorney's office. She is determined to graduate on time and reach her goal of attending law school.

Brandi Ward: Brandi Ward is a junior at Mount Vernon High School. She is very goal oriented, a hard worker and an excellent student who loves to learn. She has played soccer for Mount Vernon High School, is on dance team, involved in theater, in Young Life, and has volunteered for a dental office. She plans to go to college.
