Michael Johnson - Inside Out

On October 23 there will be a lecture at 12:30 p.m. in Hodson Hall Room 211 (H-211), with an Art Walk at 2:30 p.m.

Michael Johnson received his BFA in Sculpture from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and his MFA from the University of Cincinnati.

Johnson is an Associate Professor of Sculpture at the University of Puget Sound. His work has been in one-person and invitational exhibitions across the U.S, Slovakia and Japan. Some venues include: The Aronof Center in Cincinnati, Masur Museum in Louisiana, Martin Museum in Texas, Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, Delaware Art Museum, Grounds for Sculpture in New Jersey, Gallery Gerulata in Slovakia, and The Izu-Kogen Art Museum in Japan. Johnson also received a Fulbright Fellowship in 1995 and was on the Board of Directors of the International Sculpture Center from 2001-2007 where he served as the Chair of the Education Committee and a member of the Executive Committee.
