Christopher Gildow's Stillaguamish Series

On Friday, March 5th at Noon, Christopher Gildow’s “Stillaguamish Series”
will open in the Campus Center Gallery.

This series of woodcut prints features colorful, abstracted portrayals of
the Stillaguamish River and the flora and fauna that inhabit the river
valley. In playful layers of shape and pattern, Gildow explores the
character of a place and how cherished landscapes can imprint on our
memories. His prints “weave a narrative about place: the inherent
character of a river valley I have known all my life.”

The artist will give an informal talk about his work on Friday, March 5th,
at 12:00 noon in the gallery.

Meet the artist and hear about his inspiring work. Refreshments will be
provided. The exhibit runs through March 30.
