The Cardinal Newspaper is produced by students at Skagit Valley College. We operate as a small club in conjunction with the Journalism classes. First-year Journalism students serve the paper as reporters while also exploring the other aspects of production. Advanced Journalism students and club members comprise the production staff.
Journalism classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. during Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters at the Mount Vernon Campus of Skagit Valley College.
