A strong institutional identity requires clearly branded collateral materials. Stationery is a key component in expressing the brand identity of Skagit Valley College. Letterhead, envelopes, and business cards are often the first introduction of the college to a wide constituency.
The Public Information Office has developed stationery for use by all groups that are part of Skagit Valley College. Departments, offices, programs and other units can show their affiliation with SVC through consistent use of the official stationery. The Public Information Office has prepared letterhead, #9 and #10 envelopes, with or without bulk mailing stamp, that have been professionally printed in cost-saving quantities. Packaged quantities of the college letterhead and envelopes can be obtained through the Business Office on the Mount Vernon and Whidbey Island campuses. Business cards can be ordered on-line through The Washington State Department of Printing. Please see the Business Card section of this Graphic Identity Guide for more information. Printing of the college stationary package is coordinated by the Public Information Office and the Business Office. Individual units should not coordinate stationary printing without first consulting pio@skagit.edu or 416-7716.
Special print projects including, note cards, note pads, invitations, thank you cards and other high-end print pieces can be developed for individual units. Please contact the Public Information Office if you require any of these special stationary items. Templates for printing note cards and note pads on laser and ink jet printers are available for downloading from the Graphic Identity website.
