ABOUT THE APARTMENT

Campus View Village is a community of seven apartment buildings. Each building is listed below with its number of units and maximum resident occupancy.

CVV staff use residents' personal information from their "Roommate Preference Form," located in the application packet, to assign them to apartments. CVV staff do their best to match students with others who meet certain "key" criteria, including smoking, drinking, cleaning, and noise preferences. The community is also designed to place international students with domestic students in order to increase intercultural learning and to improve the international students' English proficiency.

Typically, students who request specific roommates are given the opportunity to live with a student of their choice so long as space is available to do so. Students will typically not live with more than one person they know, including teammates from athletic programs.

Assignments are made on a space-available basis and specific requests can never be guaranteed to be satisfied. Once students move-in, it becomes their responsibility to work effectively with their roommates to ensure a fair and civil governance of their apartment. CVV staff work diligently to support students who need additional help in this area.
