He has a good understanding of the purpose of education and wants to instill that in his classmates and younger siblings. Anthony would like to become a mechanic. He will receive $5,000 to attend The Evergreen State College.

Kira has pursued a rigorous academic path taking Honors English, Chemistry, PreCalculus, AP English, AP Statistics, AP US History, and AP Biology. He volunteers at animal shelters, serves as a teacher’s aide, and tutors his peers. He enjoys gaming, playing guitar, building models, and acting. David plans to pursue a career in information technology. He will receive $1,500 to attend Skagit Valley College.

She is President of the French Club, President of Earth Corps, and a competitor in speech and debate. Samantha plans to earn a Master’s degree in French, travel abroad, and study writing. She will receive $5,000 to attend The Evergreen State College.
 
  Ivett Zavala is a bilingual senior at Sedro Woolley High School. She has been involved in AVID, Migrant Girls Club, Leadership Club, basketball, and tennis. She is intelligent, determined, resilient, focused, and organized. Ivett plans to earn an Early Childhood Education Certificate. Her dream is to become an elementary teacher. Juan plans to become a surgeon. He will receive $2,500 to attend University of Washington-Seattle.
