How to Apply for an Open Position

Steps for Applying to All Positions

1. Carefully read the position announcement PDF for the job that you are interested in. It contains important information about the application materials and deadlines. Some position announcements will include supplemental questions that must be submitted with your application.

2. Download the Skagit Valley College Application, which includes the Applicant/Recruitment Data Form. This application can be used when applying for any position: classified, faculty, exempt, administrative, part-time, or full-time. The SVC Application is available on the Human Resources Current Openings and Application page.

3. Submit your application materials to the college by the deadline date listed on the position announcement.  

4. You may stop by the Human Resources office in the Administrative (Campus) Annex to pick up an application or to drop off your application materials.  You may also mail, fax, or email your application materials.
