  • If you are transferring from another school during the middle of a summer to summer period, you must request and our college must receive a financial aid transcript from that school.

  • Approximately 6 weeks after you send your FAFSA, you will be sent a letter asking you to complete a Financial Aid Data Sheet and return it promptly to the Financial Aid Office. Other information may be requested at that time.

  • After these initial items are submitted, your file will be reviewed and an award made. If further clarification or verification is needed a request for additional information will be sent to you. A financial aid award will not be made until EVERY ITEM in your file is complete and accurate.

  • Apply for admission to SVC if you are a new student.

  • If you have previous college enrollment, request that all copies of your academic transcripts be sent to the Admissions Office.

  • Request an official evaluation of SVC and other transcripts if you have a prior degree or certificate, 1 year or more of postsecondary enrollment at any school, or more than 40 credits from SVC or any school.
