Basic Health of Washington State
The Basic Health is a state sponsored health insurance program for low to moderate-income residents of WA state. Basic Health is currently enrolling; many students are eligible for coverage. Applications may be downloaded from this site. Help with filling out the application is available at the Health Services office on the Mount Vernon campus or over the phone. The process is easy and many working families qualify. Income, family size (be sure to include a pregnancy as a family member) and some monthly expenses are reviewed for eligibility.
