Planned Parenthood and the Take Charge Program

Planned Parenthood International is a sliding scale reproductive health clinic for men and women. There are clinics in Mount Vernon, Bellingham and Oak Harbor. Planned Parenthood manages the Take Charge Health program, which provides FREE reproductive health care to eligible men and women from age 14. Most students qualify because parental income is not included in eligibility calculations.

Urgent Care Walk-In Clinic

Skagit Regional Clinics is pleased to offer quick access to medical care without an appointment through our urgent care department. The SRC walk-in clinic offers state-of-the-art, convenient care for conditions that require medical attention, but are not life threatening. 

When timely appointments to your primary care physician's office are not available, or you need care after regular office hours, you can count on our professional and licensed staff to provide prompt medical attention.

Urgent care is open seven days a week, 364 days per year without a scheduled appointment. Patients are seen on a "first come - first served" basis.
 
Services Available at Urgent Care
  • Care for non-life threatening injuries or illness for ages three months and above
  • Care for sprains, strains, fractures and cuts
  • Wound management
  • STD testing
  • Initial evaluation for work-related injuries
  • Management of acute eye injuries
  • Ear irrigation
  • DOT physicals
  • Sports and camp physicals
  • IV hydration and medication administration as needed
  • Office surgery for suturing and abscess drainage
  • On-site lab and X-ray

When to Use Urgent Care
Urgent Care should be used for non-life threatening medical conditions such as:
  • Illnesses, such as cold or flu symptoms
  • Earaches, sore throat or fever
  • Fractures, sprains or strains
  • Minor burns or cuts
  • Stings or bites
  • After hours work-related illnesses or injuries

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 
Saturday, Sunday &  Holidays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Patients will be triaged during the last 30 minutes before closing.
Open all holidays except Christmas.

Sea Mar Community Health Clinic

Sea Mar Community Health Center was established to provide comprehensive, affordable, and culturally sensitive health and human services to the Latino, low income, disadvantaged, migrant and seasonal farm worker population. A local community need was recognized, beyond the original intent, so the same mission was expanded to include ALL populations, ethnic, income and social groups. There is a medical/dental clinic in Mount Vernon close to the college(1400 N LaVenture,), a clinic at Skagit Valley Hospital, (for appointments 360-558-5550) and a dental clinic in both Burlington and Oak Harbor. Providence Everett Healthcare Clinic

Open to Everyone The Providence Everett Healthcare Clinic was established for this purpose: To provide basic medical care for people in our community who have had difficulty gaining access to healthcare providers. We welcome patients with Medicaid and Medicare, as well as the insured and the uninsured.

Appointments and Walk-In To allow us to provide the best possible service, we encourage you to schedule an appointment. For urgent needs, we may be able to offer same-day and walk-in appointments based on the availability of our practitioners. 10 Minute Walk-In Clinic

All visits are 10 minutes and each visit costs $35.00. No appointment is necessary just drop in. We treat illness and prescribe medications when you don't want to wait for your regular Doctor.

Some of the conditions the clinic can treat and prescirbe medicaitons for: Infections (sinuses, strep throat, ear ache, asthma, bronchitis, pink eyye and bladder {cystitis}) Skin Problems (rashes, acne, shingles, infrections, insect stings, warts, animal bites, scabies, dermatitis, infected wounds, cryo surgery treatment), Lung Problems (flu, asthma, cough, bronchitis, pneumonia, pleurisy) Eye Conditions (foreign body removal, corneal abrasion, infections (conjunctivitous). Also offered are Handycap Parking Permits, Return-To-Work Notes, Strep Throat Test $10.00, Urinalysis (for infection) $10.00. Not offered are suturing, casting, narcotics or X-ray.
