Dental Resources

Dental Resources

There are dental resources/clinlics available in our area. Some are local and others are regional. Some of the clinics operate on a sliding scale fee schedule, others do not offer reduced fees but provide beneficial payment plans for the patient. As always read your information very carefully and ask LOTS of questions.

Sea Mar Community Dental Clinics

Sea Mar Community Dental Clinics were established to provide comprehensive, affordable, and culturally sensitive health and human services to the Latino, low income, disadvantaged, migrant and seasonal farm worker population. A local community need was recognized, beyond the original intent, so the same mission was expanded to include ALL populations, ethnic, income and social groups. There is a dental clinic in Mount Vernon close to the Mt.Vermon SVC campus,a dental clinic in Burlington and a new one in Oak Harbor. The Oak Harbor clinic is very new and does not yet have a web site. Please call the Oak Harbor clinic phone number for curent information or visit Sea Mar's home website.

Washington Women In Need - Dental, Vision, Physical and Hearing Grant Program

Washington Women In Need will be opening the Physical, Dental, Vision, and Hearing Grant Program to low-income women of Washington on September 19th promptly at 8:00 AM by calling 425-451-8838. Applications will not be available online.

This grant pays for specific health care services with the client's choice of professionals practicing in the community. Among the services are mammograms, eye exams and glasses, hearing exams, yearly physicals, and restorative dental work. While all of these services are available under the grant, most clients devote the majority of their grants to extensive dental work. Due to the great need for dental services, and the lack of low-income dental coverage in Washington, this grant is WWIN's most sought-after program, and typically fills up completely within minutes of its being opened to new clients each quarter so applications are not guaranteed. Returning an application also does not guarantee funding.
