Wal–Mart offers over 300 different drugs at only $4 per prescription fill or refill (up to a 30-day supply).* The program is available at all Wal–Mart, Sam's Club and Neighborhood Market pharmacies. Partnership for Prescription Assistance

The Partnership for Prescription Assistance brings together America's pharmaceutical companies, doctors, other health care providers, patient advocacy organizations and community groups to help qualifying patients who lack prescription coverage get the medicines they need through the public or private program that's right for them. Many will get them free or nearly free.

Its mission is to increase awareness of patient assistance programs and boost enrollment of those who are eligible. Through this site, the Partnership for Prescription Assistance offers a single point of access to more than 475 public and private patient assistance programs, including more than 180 programs offered by pharmaceutical companies. Co-Pay Relief 

The Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) Co-Pay Relief Program (CPR) currently provides direct financial support to insured patients, including Medicare Part D beneficiaries, who must financially and medically qualify to access pharmaceutical co-payment assistance. The program offers personal service to all patients through the use of call counselors; personally guiding patients through the enrollment process. Patient Advocate Foundation 

RX Outreach

Rx Outreach is a new patient assistance program (PAP) for people of all ages. The program makes prescription medicines affordable for uninsured and under-insured individuals and families. The program is administered by Express Scripts Specialty Distribution Services, a fully-licensed U.S. mail order pharmacy. Patients who qualify can order prescription medicines by mail once they complete an Rx Outreach form. ESSDS developed Rx Outreach to provide a safe, affordable, and easy way for people of all ages to get medicines they need. The program offers prescription medicines to uninsured individuals and families, as well as those who have limited prescription drug coverage.

Prescriptions are filled by licensed pharmacists in the United States. Medications are mailed directly to the patient's home, or any location he or she requests. Once the patient's Rx Outreach form is approved, the medication ships within 10-14 days. Specially trained call center personnel are available from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, to answer patients' questions.

The program currently provides more than 107 FDA-approved medicines to treat a variety of ongoing health conditions, including diabetes, mental health, heart conditions, high blood pressure, and asthma. Medicines can only be ordered in 90-day supplies. Each 90-day supply is only $20 or $30 depending on the medication. 

Rx Outreach provides prescription drugs to individuals and families who are at or below 250 percent of the Federal Poverty Level - for example, individuals whose income is $24,500 a year or less, and families of four whose income is about $50,000 a year or less, are eligible.

There is no cost to join the program. There are no contracts or monthly bills. Patients pay only for the medicine they need. The administrative fee is $20 or $30 for each 90-day (3 month) supply. The fee covers our administrative costs, including shipping and handling, so there are no hidden costs
