  • French Knowledge Bowl & Workshop. Work with French instructor, Monique Luiten-Halter, on a number of activities related to the French language and French-speaking cultures. Lewis-55; Session 1.
  • Spanish Knowledge Bowl & Workshop. Work with Spanish instructor, Alison Miller, on a number of activities related to the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking cultures. Lewis-55; Session 2.
  • Impromptu Speech Workshop. Learn to organize your thoughts and speak with poise at a moment's notice. This workshop offers participants a template for organizing, tips for delivery, and techniques for reducing speech anxiety, as well as a chance to present one or more speeches for feedback. Hodson-102; Session 2.
  • Spanish/English Broadcast Workshop. Pre-record your own creative writing in Spanish or English onto disc for possible broadcast at a later date on SVC's KSVR radio (91.7 FM). Get tips from Jose Sanchez, Spanish instructor, and Jason Lind, Speech/Media instructor. Reeves-22; Session 1.
