During the 1-2 p.m. lunch break, enjoy pizza and beverages (served in the SVC cafeteria and Hodson Hall) at or bring your own lunch to one or more cultural activities involving SVC international and World Language students:
- Bookmarks. Create your own bookmarks in another language. You provide the ideas, SVC international students provide the translations. Hodson-102.
- Calligraphy. Watch a demonstration and try your own hand at the ancient art of calligraphy. Hodson-112.
- Japanese Poster Session. Visit a poster exhibition created by SVC students and talk to them about what they've learned about Japanese language and culture. Hodson-112.
- Kimonos. Try on kimonos from various Asian cultures and have your photo taken. Hodson-112.
- Toturo. View this animated classic from Japan while eating lunch. Hodson-112.
