Summer 2008 Courses

Math 097 DE

- A beginning course in algebra. Topics include: algebraic expressions, solving linear equations and inequalities, ratios and proportions, graphing and determining linear equations, exponents and polynomials. A graphing calculator is required. Prerequisite: Math 096 with a grade of C or higher, or equivalent math placement score.

This course will be using the 3rd Edition of Elayn Martin-Gay Beginning and Intermediate Algebra, along with MyMathLab. The access code for MyMathLab can either be purchased alone or with a textbook. With the access code, the entire text is available online. Therefore, purchasing the text is optional and up to your preference. Please contact me for more information.
