The standard PC today comes with Microsoft Windows already installed. This class will cover Windows basics, desktop bitmaps and screensavers, Windows navigation, computer maintenance, applications, the control panel, and Windows Explorer.

Students will learn the skills to take advantage of the functionalities and features of digital technology to be creative with photos. Class sessions include basic concepts of traditional photo processes translated into their equivalent practices in digitized environment.

After taking your digital photographs, learn to import the photos to the computer, enhance their appearance and edit out mistakes. In this workshop you will use the digital darkroom in Photoshop Elements to perform basic image editing tasks: rotate, straighten and crop photos—and how to use the correct tool for each. You will repair and retouch photos using lighting, color and sharpen features. Finally, learn how to share and print photos, how resolution affects print size, and how to choose correct print setting.
