How To Register

BFSU Summer Study Program Application Procedure

STEP 1 – APPLICATION

Complete the registration form and attach it to an email to terri.nogler@skagit.edu. (If you wish to join the optional tour of US Cities with our partner Smithsonian Student Tours, click here and enter Tour Number 532847 in the box "Enter Tour ID". You will register and pay for the tour directly to Smithsonian. Click here to view details of the Tour Itinerary.)

STEP 2 – PAYMENT

Call Terri at 001-360-416-7909 during office hours, 8:30am-4:30pm Pacific Time, Monday-Friday. She will ask you for your credit card information for payment of your $300 deposit. Only Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

STEP 3 – LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE

Upon payment of your $300 deposit you will be sent a confirmation of registration from the International Program Office at Skagit Valley College that you can take to the American embassy or consulate to apply for your U.S. visa. The International Program Office will work with you to arrange your homestay. Payment for the homestay ($575) will be made to that office directly. They can also help you with visa problems or questions: visakan.ganeson@skagit.edu.

STEP 4 – FINAL PAYMENT

When you have received your U.S. visa and made your flight reservations, call Terri at 001-360-416-7909 again to make final payment of the balance ($400) using your credit card.
