The Cardinal Newspaper is produced by students at Skagit Valley College. We operate as a small club in conjunction with the Journalism classes. First-year Journalism students serve the paper as reporters while also exploring the other aspects of production. Advanced Journalism students and club members comprise the production staff.

Our newsroom is located on the Mount Vernon campus, in Reeves Hall R-22, along with the KSVR radio station and offices. As a student club, our hours of operation are subject to change. Journalism classes take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.
