E-Learning!!! It's Changing. Come to the meeting.

In the Spring of 2008, a student requested that "a set of guidelines be drawn for instructors of online classes which clearly establishes best practices", an E-Learning Task Force was formed and charged with developing standards of effective practices in a variety of e-learning areas. The Task Force completed its work at the end of Spring Quarter, 2009 and submitted a report and recommendations. The college would like to hear reactions to these recommendations. Two public hearings will be held:

Mount Vernon campus: Wednesday, October 28th, 2:30-4:00pm, in the Multipurpose room, Gary Knutzen Cardinal Center.

Oak Harbor campus: Wednesday, November 4th, 2:30-4:00pm, in Oak Hall, room 306.

All members of the College are encouraged to review the documents and to contribute their views, concerns, and/or input during the public hearings. If you cannot attend the scheduled hearings, please send written comments to either Sally Dixon or Mick Donahue no later than Friday, November 6th.
