Our goal at Skagit Valley College is for every student to be successful, and we want to do what we can to ensure your success and achievement.  Students experience academic problems for many reasons and we have provided a list of resources accessible from this site that are available to all students.

Any of our counselors, will be happy to meet with you to discuss your situation and can assist you in developing an academic plan for success at Skagit Valley College.  If you are not sure who your advisor is or if you are self-advised, please contact the academic advising office at the center closest to you to schedule an appointment.

If you are visiting this site because you have been notified of academic standards status, you are in a critical time in your enrollment at Skagit Valley College, and it is important that you earn a minimum 2.00 GPA while enrolled in 5 or more credits this quarter to be removed from that status.  Anything less will result in a continued progression through our academic standards policy with the potential of being dropped for one year sometime in the future.  Now is the time to take action to get on a better academic track.
