* Students who do not receive an appropriate test score will require additional course work to develop necessary skills for entry into class. NOTE: Students must complete pharmacy technician courses and all related education to be awarded a certificate. It is strongly recommended that students see an advisor before enrolling in classes. Prerequisites and Admission Requirements: Students wishing to enter the Pharmacy Technician program will need to complete AHE 102 (or AHE 160 and 161), AHE 106 (or BIOL& 241 or 242), and HMATH 100 (or NMATH 100) and be placed on a waiting list. Students will need to complete all prerequisites with a “C” grade or better. Students will be entered into the program each Fall on a first come, first serve basis based on the date of their completed application. Also, must be at least 18 years of age; must have a GED or High School diploma; and must pass a background check. |
