Description:
Live Poets Society is a two-credit integrative experience that combines both oral and written rhetorical frameworks in the analysis of poetry, specifically identifying conventions and forms of poetry as well as oral performance techniques to draw conclusions about the overall effectiveness of a poetry experience. Students will be required to attend the Skagit River Poetry Festival on May 16 and 17. Class meets April 11 - May 30.

Description and Prerequisite:

An Integrative Experience emphasizing an interdisciplinary approach to current issues in communications studies, including the societal context of communications studies and technology, and/or the ethical, political, and cultural aspects of communications studies.

1. This course is an Integrative Experience. One of the two Integrative Learning Experiences required for a degree can be met with an Integrative Experience. Live Poets Society is a two-credit seminar course
