Description and Prerequisite:

Apply brewing theory in the brewery lab. Reviews equipment and basic maintenance, proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques, cellar work, and ways to troubleshoot and adapt the brewing process.

Class Notes:

1. Must be admitted to the Craft Brewing program prior to registration. Contact Lisa Barnett for advising at (360) 416-7649 or lisa.barnett@skagit.edu.

2. Class will meet 5 Saturdays for approximately 8 hours each. Dates will be arranged. Lab fee: $300.

NOTE: The enhanced electronic version of the textbook is on-line and available via your Access Code. The Access Code is valid for one year and for every class using the same textbook. For example one Access Code will work for Math 97-99 and one Access Code will work for Math 141-142. If you have problems adding a new class in a sequence to your current MyLab/Mastering account please contact your instructor before buying a new Access Code.
