We don’t know what’s going to happen in this election. And based on the challenges of voting in a pandemic, we likely won’t know the winner on election night either. After November 3rd, political pundits will surely take to the airwaves to offer their perspectives. Yet where can you turn to make sense of it all?

Join SpeakOut one week after the election, as we hear from three brilliant changemakers who will look at this year’s critical presidential election through a racial and social justice lens:

  • Dr. Melina Abdullah – Professor of Pan-African Studies and frontline leader of Black Lives Matter
  • Helen Zia – Award-winning journalist and author of Asian American Dreams and Last Boat out of Shanghai, among others
  • Tim Wise – Leading anti-racism educator and author of 9 books including White Like Me and the forthcoming, Dispatches from the Race War

They’ll sift through the noise and distractions to help you understand what is happening, how to keep your eyes on what’s at stake, and more importantly, the ways we can continue to transform society no matter who occupies the White House.
