First Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Pumpkin Content and Halloween Treats. Costumes Encouraged!
Whidbey Island Campus 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Mount Vernon Campus 1 – 3 p.m.
Pumpkin Contest Rules
- One pumpkin per department/unit; pick up between 10/15-10/28:
- Whidbey Campus- Rika’s office (Old Main)
- MV Campus- International Office (Cardinal Center)
- San Juan Center (Main Office)
- Go ALL OUT decorating your pumpkin (paint, glitter, fabric, outfit, accessories, etc..) Add as many creative props as desired!
- Please refrain from carving your pumpkin.
- On 10/31, bring pumpkin to display site for contest and judging.
Set Up & Contest Times
- Whidbey Island Campus: Main Lobby (Oak Hall)
- Deliver pumpkin by 10 a.m.
- Contest begins at 11 a.m.
- Mount Vernon Campus: Foyer of Cardinal Center
- Deliver pumpkin by 12:30 p.m.
- Contest begins at 1:30 p.m.
- San Juan Center: TBD
- A representative for each entry will be given one minute to present their pumpkin.
Prizes (gift cards, swag, treats, etc..) will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for EACH campus. Overall grand prize for each campus/site will be a “unique” award to display for the year. May the most innovative, intriguing, and ingeniously decorated pumpkin earn the “W”!
