Something Rotten

Don’t miss Skagit Valley College’s production of the musical comedy, “Something Rotten!” The show runs for two weekends, April 14-24 at the Lincoln Theater in downtown Mount Vernon.

Set in the Shakespearean Renaissance time of the 1590s, England, this zany, crazy, toe-tapping song and dance-filled musical comedy tells the story of two brothers, Nick and Nigel Bottom, who decide to write a new play which they believe will be greater than anything William Shakespeare has ever written…And it will also be the world’s first musical! It features large song-and-dance numbers along with a wacky cast of over-the-top characters! It is appropriate for audiences eight years and older (language and innuendos). “Something Rotten!” has been labeled as a. “Love letter to Broadway musicals,” and audiences will enjoy a fun-filled, toe-tapping few hours at the theater!
