The Facilities and Operations Department at Skagit Valley College is committed to creating and maintaining a safe, sustainable, and welcoming environment that supports student success, academic excellence, and community engagement. Through strategic capital planning, efficient facility management, and responsive operations, we ensure that campus infrastructure evolves to meet current and future needs. We prioritize stewardship of resources, continuous improvement, and collaboration across departments to uphold the college’s mission of accessibility, equity, and innovation in education.

Our Facilities team is organized into five key areas of operation:

  • Building Maintenance
Ensures the upkeep and functionality of all college buildings and systems.
  • Custodial Services
Maintains clean and healthy spaces across campus facilities.
  • Grounds Maintenance
Preserves the natural beauty and usability of outdoor spaces.
  • Pest Control
Protects our campus by managing pests safely and effectively.
