There are three ways to receive tutoring assistance.
1. In-Person and Online Tutoring Offered Through Skagit Valley College
Students are able to meet in person again! There will be some in-person tutoring for both Mount Vernon and Whidbey Island Campuses. Students can also still receive tutoring via video chat or phone with the same Tutors that work on Mt. Vernon and Whidbey Island campuses drop-in tutoring centers. Spring Quarter 2022 Schedule
In-Person Tutoring Sessions
In-Person tutoring is now being offered on both Mount Vernon and Whidbey Island Campuses. No appointments are necessary, but students will be required to wear masks, regardless of vaccination status.

Online: Monday-Friday: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. | Tuesday and Thursday: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. | Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

3. Online Writing Center assistance
ALL students are able to access online support for writing (whether English courses or any other class) at any time of year. This service is always open to all students, even during regular campus operations. If you have questions about the Writing Center’s services, please contact Jennifer Handley.
