Centennial Gala
The Centennial Gala marked a milestone year with an evening dedicated to SVC’s history, people, and future. It was an opportunity to reflect on a century of impact and celebrate the connections that carry our college into its next chapter.

Cardinal Centennial Days
Two campuses, one shared milestone. Centennial Days brought students, employees, alumni, and community members together to celebrate SVC’s 100th anniversary.
Whidbey Island Campus marked the occasion with “Through the Decades” Day on May 19, followed by “Carnival” Day at Mount Vernon Campus on May 20.

Centennial Mural Project
The centennial mural project invited students to leave their mark on SVC’s history. Through painting workshops on both campuses, participants decorated individual puzzle pieces designed to become part of a shared mural—a creative expression of our college community.
Hall of Fame Celebration
SVC honored its 2026 Hall of Fame inductees, recognizing alumni, faculty, staff, public officials, and community members whose leadership and service have made a lasting difference.
During our centennial year, this celebration offered a meaningful opportunity to recognize the people who helped shape the college and strengthen its connection to the community.
Athletic Auction
The Athletic Auction celebrated Cardinal pride, supported student athletes, and honored athletics as part of SVC’s century-long story.
