Tutoring Resources

One-on-one help for your courses!

Students can receive in-person tutoring (math, writing, science, and more) on Mount Vernon and Whidbey Island campuses. If you have questions about these services, please email tutoring@skagit.edu.

Tutoring Schedule

During the fall quarter, drop-in tutoring will be available Tuesday to Friday on the Mount Vernon campus in Lewis Hall (Room 221). We're still hiring, so hours will be updated as we get closer to the start of the quarter.

On the Whidbey Island campus, tutoring will be available Monday to Thursday from 10am to 3pm in Hayes Hall (Room 107).

Online Tutoring

Can’t get to a tutoring center for help with STEM courses? Enrolled SVC students may also access free, 24/7 online tutoring through the Western eTutoring Consortium. This statewide service offers support in subjects such as Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Computer Science.
