Tutoring Resources

One-on-one help for your courses!

Students can receive in-person tutoring (math, writing, science, and more) on Mount Vernon and Whidbey Island campuses. If you have questions about these services, please email tutoring@skagit.edu.

Tutoring Schedule

For the summer quarter, tutoring centers are open Monday to Thursday, 10am – 3pm. Tutoring can be found on the Mount Vernon campus in Lewis Hall (Room 221) and on the Whidbey Island campus in Hayes Hall (Room 107).

For help with specific courses in Math, Biology, Chemistry, or Statistics, we encourage students to email tutoring@skagit.edu to confirm tutor availability.

Online Tutoring

Can’t get to a tutoring center for help with STEM courses? Enrolled SVC students may also access free, 24/7 online tutoring through the Western eTutoring Consortium. This statewide service offers support in subjects such as Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Computer Science.
