What to Expect at New Student Registration


New Student Registration is designed to help you get ready for your first quarter at Skagit Valley College. During this session, you’ll register for classes, set up your student accounts, and learn how to access the tools and support services available to you.

Fall Quarter begins September 22, 2026.

What Can You Expect


Plan to attend your New Student Registration session during the scheduled time window. To help us prepare, please RSVP for the arrival time that works best for you.

Session Details:

During your session, you will:

  • Learn how to navigate the ctcLink student portal
  • Register and pay for classes
  • Explore funding options and available benefits
  • Connect with student support services and resources
  • Set up and access your MySVC email

Not Planning a Full Program?


If you only plan to take one or two classes and do not intend to continue in future quarters, you may not need to attend New Student Registration.

Note for remote sessions:
Students will need to turn on their camera and present a photo ID.
