After completing this course, the student will be able to:

  1. Have a better understanding about the history, heritage, and culture of the main ethnic groups in the U.S. The course should also serve to improve communications between racial groups and to encourage all students to know and to come to terms with social injustice and racism and to aid in the reduction of discrimination.
