Get help completing the FAFSA or WASFA for financial aid.

Receive support completing your financial aid application. We are here to help students complete the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) or Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Students who have attended (or plan to attend) SVC between July 2024 – June 2025 should complete the 2024-2025 financial aid application. The 2024-2025 financial aid applications will require your 2022 Income and Tax Information.

For assistance with your financial aid application, please BRING or KNOW the following:

  • Your Student FSA login information (If you are a student under the age of 24, you will need your parent’s FSA login info as well).
  • You and your parent’s Social Security Number OR Permanent Resident Card.
  • Your State ID Card or Driver’s License.
  • Your Federal Tax Return Paperwork for the appropriate tax year (often called a Form 1040). Dependent students should also bring their parent’s tax return paperwork (students are dependent if they are
  • younger than 24, unmarried, have no children, and have no prior military service).
  • You and your parent’s records of untaxed income (child support payments, interest income from stocks/bonds, veterans’ benefits, SSI payments, Disability payments, Life insurance payouts, Retirement income, etc.).
  • You and your parent’s current balances of cash, checking, and savings accounts.
  • Dependent students will also need to know their parent’s social security numbers, dates of birth, and their parent’s marriage/divorce dates.

If you have any questions about these financial aid workshops, please do not hesitate to contact [email protected] OR [email protected].

RSVPs are encouraged but not required!
