Safe Zone Training

We believe one of the most effective ways to create a truly inclusive campus is to build a strong and active network of allies. Through Title III grants Skagit Valley College will be providing Safe Zone Training for staff and faculty. Safe Zone training is meant to increase awareness, understanding gender-neutral, and sensitivity on the issues that LGBTQ persons face to be a more supportive and respectful community.
The Safe Zone Project offers free online resources and information for Ally training workshops. More information can be found here:
